Year 5 Speed Dating for an Amazing Reading Date
To encourage the children to read a wider range of different genres of books, every child in Year 5 selected their all-time favourite fiction and non-fiction book to share with their peers. Once chosen, we generated an assortment of questions, which we would ask our partner to find out as much information as we could about their chosen book. Every two minutes, we moved onto our next ‘Book Date’ and at the end of the session, we shared whom we would give our vote to as our favourite. A fabulous time was had by all!
